I love watching Maria's videos. She cracks me up! And I love when she has Val on too. I haven't tried DUA fragrances yet. I've gone on their site, and there were so many I wanted to try that I told myself, "Get out of here now while you still can!" 🤣 It's kind of overwhelming to have that many choices. I'm like Cara in that I do enjoy smelling like a snack, but I also know some of those foodie fragrances can be done wrong and end up too sweet or overwhelmingly realistic. The rice pudding one you reviewed sounds scrumptious to me, and I have a feeling it would bring a sense of nostalgia for me as well since my mom made rice pudding from scratch all the time while I was growing up. Thank you for this review! 💜
Yes Maria is GREAT. Let me tell you...I was SO overwhelmed when I first went on the Dua site too! More than anything, I get FOMO in regards to seeing a scent and passing by without looking at the notes! If I don't' know the original inspiration scent, or if its one of their originals, I'm worried it MIGHT be my dream fragrance so I end up clicking on each scent to read! That's a time consuming rabbit hole hahaha. If I get my act together and get a decant kit I will send you the Creamy Rice Pudding to try!
Hi Kelly, my rule was to use up to perfumes before I bought anymore. I ended up buying the last 2 Kayali launches. And no, I didn't use up 2 before that. 🤣🤣
Hahaha whoops 😉 well hopefully you love them! I’m going to have to start REALLY dousing myself to use something up 🤪 I am starting to realize that I don’t need the big bottle-even if I know I love it and it’s a better deal than a smaller bottle.
@KeepBeautyReal1 I like the smaller bottles too. I always make sure to put perfume on before I go to bed. I put more on immediately when I get home too. I'm not close to anyone to irritate their nose, lol.
Kelly, you convinced me to try them out so I purchased quite a few. I had never heard of them but I loved your in-depth reviews, so…. Let’s see what they smell like. If I start getting chased around outside by bees 🐝 or mosquitoes 🦟, I’ll know they really smell good! 😁
There are a lot of notes in each of them that I know I’ll love so I wanted to try them out - especially the ones with more citrusy notes as well as the warmer vanilla scents. ♥️
Every Dua perfume I've bought smells like straight musk or Oud , I might get a glimmer of vanilla or pine or another note but these always smells terrible on me. I do read reviews
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that! I wonder if they commonly use a note or ingredient that just doesn't work well with your chemistry? I have found fragrances that smell so different on me than they do on other people. I haven't had the experience of the scents I have getting musky or a strong oud tone. I have two dupes that I got in my second order that I expected to be a bit less woody and not what I expected from smelling the originals.
Hi I really would like to know if these fragrances are non toxic and clean? the website says they are safe for the skin but I would like to know more and confirm
Hi there. Since “clean” isn’t a regulated term and can literally mean anything any brand wants, I can’t answer that really. If there are certain ingredients that you are looking to avoid maybe you could email their customer service for insight. I did look at their FAQ for you-they do list the main ingredients used there.
